Experience a silent glide over the water with a new, unique and comfortable Joylife electric houseboat on the Saar River.

These license-free Joylife electric houseboats are designed and built by our sister company, the German boat builder, SBS Andernach GmbH. This with the aim to realize for the first time a 100% electric powered houseboat with all the comforts of a vacation home.

The all-electric houseboats are powered by a Cruise 10.0 electric outboard from Torqeedo. In parallel, there is an on-board electronic network with 230 volts, spiked by solar panels over the batteries with a peak power of 2.5 kW. A shore power supply and a power generator act as backup. In addition to this real innovation in the houseboat market, the Joylife electric houseboats also have their own on-board sewage treatment plant and fresh water treatment plant. Thus, it is possible to travel with a Joylife electric houseboat up to two weeks self-sufficient and ecologically sustainable.

In addition, you can expect equipment of the finest. Brands such as Villeroy & Boch, Vitra, BoConcept, Billerbeck Schlafkultur, Siemens, Samsung, Nespresso and others ensure a very comfortable stay. The design and interior of Joylife electric houseboats focus on a modern and simple style with a feel-good factor. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows at a room height of 2.4 m offer an immediate all-round view of the travel environment. For the furniture, plain elements in brown, white and soft shades of cream were combined with a lot of light wood, which adds a warm touch to the interior. The total boat area is 54 sqm, with 8 sqm covered outside deck and 18 sqm sun deck. With the sleeping suite with panoramic views below the upper deck and four additional berths, up to 6 people can be accommodated on a vacation. The bathroom impresses with its spacious shower, which is not usually found in a houseboat. Likewise, the kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired. From electric stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, wine fridge, washer-dryer and much more and to the gas grill on the upper deck – everything has been thought of. A modern multimedia system including WIFI provides entertainment on board. If you want to go on a shore excursion, e-scooters or folding bicycles are available for a small fee.

This makes vacation really fun, feeling like in a vacation home. To be able to travel safely, each houseboat is equipped with a Nautic camera system and an alarm system with surveillance. – Quite simply, you have to experience it.
