The success of each cruise was always in the foreground for you

Already since 1994 the team around Heidi and Peter Schönberger provided wonderful and relaxing boating vacations with Linssen yachts from the port Merzig at the Saar. Those who know her know that water sports flow in her veins. When they chartered out Linssen Yachts, the innovation and market leader in the design and manufacture of exclusive steel motor yachts up to 17 meters, Linssen Yachts B.V. in Maasbracht, the Netherlands, treated and maintained the yachts as if they were their own vessels. As a result, they had made an excellent name for themselves in the Saar/Moselle coalfield and beyond throughout Germany and abroad. They were also co-founding members of the strong and unique European charter network LBH, Linssen Boating Holidays, which serves investors and boat owners in close cooperation with the traditional Dutch shipyard Linssen Yachts B.V., which is over 70 years old. To date, countless yacht owners, including many long-standing regular customers, have entrusted their yachts to the trustworthy chartering services of the Yacht Charter Holiday Tours team.

As of 1.1.2023 the handover of their life’s work to Delphin Tec Schiffstechnik GmbH took place

Succession planning is not easy at all when it comes to a life’s work. Heidi and Peter Schönberger were aware of this and therefore they had been busy finding a sustainable solution for some time, as they wanted to focus on their second mainstay, the sale and rental of motorhomes. Because a family-internal succession solution is possible there. On the impulse of a good acquaintance they were brought together with Matthias Schmitt, Alex Friesen and Franz With, the three entrepreneurial friends of Delphin Tec Schiffstechnik GmbH. Delphin Tec Schiffstechnik GmbH has been providing all services in the sale, chartering, service and maintenance of leisure boats since 2004.

From the very beginning, the chemistry between the couple Heidi and Peter Schönberger and the three equal partners of Delphin Tec Schiffstechnik GmbH was right. These are since the spring 2022 likewise in the Saarland with their innovative Joylife electric houseboats in the letting entrepreneurially active. By taking over the chartering of Linssen yachts, this creates sustainable business synergies for them at Delphin Tec Schiffstechnik GmbH.

Delphin Tec Schiffstechnik GmbH is part of the SBS group of companies. SBS Andernach GmbH in Andernach, Rhineland-Palatinate, has successfully distinguished itself in the market as a manufacturer of landing bridges, sports boat facilities, floating bridges, boat garages, special boats for fire departments, police and rescue services, ferries as well as leisure boats and houseboats. For example, the berths in Völklingen, Saarlouis and Saarburg or the Welles ferry in Saarland have already been built. The parent company SBS Andernach GmbH has existed as a medium-sized company for almost 100 years.

SBS Andernach GmbH and additionally the further sister company SBS Technik GmbH, which among other things perceive the ship and boat electrical engineering, are thus responsible for the service and the maintenance including cruise hotline of the Linssen yachts of Yacht Charter Holiday Tours.
